As a Jew, I’ve always been fascinated by the Amish way of life. There are many similarities between Judaism and Amishism, but there are also some differences between them. Both religions teach that God gave us the Ten Commandments and that we should be obedient to these laws in order to receive eternal life in heaven. Also, both groups believe that Jesus Christ was not the Messiah promised by God because he wasn’t born into a Jewish family or tribe like all of the other prophets were before him. But there are certain other beliefs that these two groups hold true which differ from each other as well:
